@tchambers That is super interesting, especially since I quite literally just (like 5 minutes ago) finished the module in a training course I'm doing that explored network effects. One of the key concepts was that the value of a network is informed more by the strength of connections between members of the network than by the number of connections; this seems to be holding true. I'm curious about how the addition of federation between networks will affect the strength of connections between people who are member of different networks over time.

@timbray If these quote-unquote military types are saying “amphibian” rather than “amphibious“, you can safely ignore them. As far as I’m aware, the Ukrainian army doesn’t have a battalion of frogs in their order of battle.
