A long time ago, I used to have one of those magnetic poetry kits where you got a bunch of individual words that you stuck to your fridge, and then arranged and re-arranged them into… phrases? sentences? poems?

Anyway, it was kind of fun, especially the morning after you’d had some friends over and found all the stuff they’d composed (which was generally more than a little off-color). I do still kind of like the idea, but I don’t really want to stick a bunch of stuff to my fridge, so I decided to make a digital version. Most of the words here come from the Original Magnetic Poetry kit, with a few supplements of my own, served via a Github Gist.

(It kinda works on mobile devices, but is a little touchy. Reloading the page sometimes helps. Sorry about that. 🤷🏻‍♂️)
