I was poking around on Dribbble and came across a pretty rad, modern take on the Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs designed Braun ET66 Calculator. I thought it’d be fun to try and put together a—much simpler!—working version using a similar style. While mine isn’t a faithful replica of either, it does do basic calculations.
For a couple hours’ work, it didn’t turn out too badly. And you can even use your keyboard for input if you want; the escape key will clear the screen, while enter/return will act as the ‘=’ key (the ‘=’ key still does its thing, too).Back to all experiments
